Southern Butter Tarts Recipe
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 c of sugar (brown); packed
2 pcs of eggs
2 c of raisins
1/2 c of butter
2 Tbsps of cream (heavy)
1 c of walnuts; chopped
30 tart shells (2 in.); unbaked
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (325 degrees F). Mix 1/2 cup of butter, 1.5 cup of sugar, together with 2 pcs of eggs; and then blend well. Mix in what remains of the ingredients; and then whisk thoroughly. Place mixture into the shells up until half of the shell.
Cook in oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
