Oatmeal Scotchies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of flour (all purpose); sifted
1 tsp of baking soda
1 c of softened butter (unsalted)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
1/2 tsp of salt
3/4 c of sugar (white)
3/4 c of sugar (brown)
2 fresh eggs (large)
1 tsp of vanilla
3 c of uncooked oatmeal (Quick)
2 c of Butterscotch Flavored Morsels (Nestle Toll House)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (375 degrees F).
Combine the baking soda, cinnamon, flour, and salt; set it aside. Combine the sugars, vanilla, butter, and eggs; beat till it becomes creamy. Slowly add the mixed flour; stir until lumps disappear. Mix in the morsels and incorporate well.
Scoop teaspoonfuls of the batter onto the baking sheets and bake for about 7 to 8 mins to have a chewy cookie and 9 to 10 mins for a crispy one.
