M&M Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
2 & 1/4 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp of salt
1/2 c of sugar
1 c of sugar (light brown); packed
1 c of shortening
2 pcs of eggs (large)
1.5 c of M&M candies
2 tsp of vanilla extract
pinch of baking soda
Instructions:
Preheat the oven (375 degrees Fahrenheit). In medium-sized bowl, mix salt, flour and soda thoroughly and set it aside. Using another larger bowl, use a mixer to cream sugars and shortening together. Add vanilla as well as eggs, beating at moderate speed ’til fluffy and light.
Add the mixture of flour & candies ’til just mixed. Don’t overmix.
Using tablespoon, drop dough on ungreased cookie sheets, 2″ apart from each other. Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes, ’til the edges start to become gold-brown in color. Don’t overbake. Bring cookies on rack in order to let them cool.
