French Almond Meringues Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pkg chocolate pieces (6 ozs, semi-sweet)
1 c of sugar
3 pcs whites of egg
1/3 c of almonds; blanched then sliced finely
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions:
Melt choco chips over some hot water, but do not bring to a boil. Take away from heat & leave to cool for approximately 5 mins.
Mix vanilla & egg whites in another bowl. Beat well until it stiffens, but remain moist. Slowly add in sugar & until it becomes even more stiff. Stir in almonds & softened chocolate.
Put teaspoonfuls of the mixture on greased baking sheet. Lastly, bake for about 10 to 12 mins. at 350 degrees F.
