Double Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 3/4 c of flour (all-purpose)
1/2 c of cocoa for baking
2 c of chocolate scraps (semi-sweet)
1/3 c of butter (or margarine); sliced
1 can of milk (condensed & sweetened, 14 ozs.)
1 pc egg (large)
1 tsp of soda
1 tsp of vanilla
1/2 c of nuts; chopped
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. Prepare cookie sheets, greased lightly.
Melt cocoa, soda & flour in mixing bowl. In large durable saucepan, melt a cup of choco scraps with butter. Stir on low fire until creamy.
Take mixture out of the heat; then add in milk, vanilla, & egg. Mix thoroughly then add the flour mix.
Stir remaining choco scraps & nuts in, resulting dough is soft. Arrange tablespoonfuls on prepared sheets.
Next, bake until the edges set while the centers remain soft, or for about 8-10 mins. Let cool on cookie sheets about 2 mins., then move to cooling racks.
