Apple Butterscotchies Recipe
Ingredients:
2.5 c flour (all-purpose)
2 tsps cinnamon;ground
1 tsp of baking soda
10 tbsps of softened butter
1/2 tsp of salt
1 1/3 c of sugar (brown);packed
1 pc egg
3/4 c apple; grated
2/3 c of applejuice
2 c of butterscotch chips
2 tbsps butter
3/4 c walnuts; chopped
1 c of confectioners sugar
Instructions:
Preheat your oven at 350 deg. fahrenheit. Grease baking sheets lightly. Combine salt, baking soda, cinnamon and flour in a bowl.
Then, beat the brown sugar & softened butter into a big bowl till smooth and creamy. Add in the egg and continue beating. Slowly add in your flour mix, alternating with applejuice.
Add in butterscotch, grated apple & walnuts. Next, drop tablespoonfuls of dough to your prepared baking sheets and shape to a ball. Bake cookies for 10-12 mins, till color turns light brown.
Set cookies aside for 2 mins, then move to cooling racks.
Prepare glaze by melting the rest of butterscotch pcs and butter inside a saucepan on lowest heat possible.
Remove from fire when mixture has softened then add confectioners sugar & more juice till creamy.Evenly spread out glaze the garnish with walnuts.

Cheesecake Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
5 tbsps of butter
1 c of flour
1/3 c of sugar (brown)
1/2 c of nuts; chopped
2 tbsps of milk
1/2 c of sugar
1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
1 pack (8-oz) of cream cheese
1 pc egg
1 tbsp of juice from a lemon
Instructions:
Beat the brown sugar & butter together, then add in nuts and flour. Blend well, then set a cupful of dough aside for the top. Pour the rest on to bottom part of 8×8inch pan.
Next, bake in oven for 12 to 15 mins. at 350 degrees F. Blend cheese and sugar until creamy, then add milk, lemon juices, egg & vanilla. Next, beat thoroughly then spoon evenly over crust.
Drizzle the cupful of topping that we reserved. Bake again for about 25 mins more. Let cool, before refrigerating. Finally, cut in small squares.

Apricot Dreams Recipe
Ingredients:
1.5 tsp of baking powder
1 1/4 c of flour
1/2 c of fruit preserves (Apricot)
1/4 c of sugar
1/2 c of coconut; flaked
1/4 tsp of salt
13 oz-pkg of softened cream cheese
1/2 c of softened butter
For Frosting:
1/4 c of fruit preserves (apricot)
1 c of sugar (powdered)
1 tbsp of softened butter
Instructions:
Preheat your oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit. Put into processor and blend salt, baking powder, sugar and flour together. Add in the butter & cream cheese then continue pulsing until crumbs are formed.
Next, add in apricot preserves as well as coconut, then blend till creamy. Avoid over mixing so that cookies become airy and light. On ungreased baking sheets, arrange teaspoonfuls of round dough. Bake these for 15 to 18 mins. This will make three dozen or so cookies.
To make frosting, mix all ingredients together. Spread them out on your cooled cookies.

Kolachky Recipe
Ingredients:
2 packs cream cheese (room temp., 8 oz.)
2 c of butter (unsalted); softened
1 lbs of walnuts; chopped
4 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 pc of egg
1 pc of egg white
1 can filling (poppy seed, 12 ounce)
1/2 c of honey
1/2 c of sugar (confectioners’, for dusting)
Instructions:
In mixing bowl, combine butter and cream cheese ’til well-blended. Add flour a cup each time. When dough stiffens, place it on floured table then knead ’til not sticky anymore. Continue kneading for another 3-5 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven (350 degrees F). Crush walnuts (with the food processor) ’til fine. Add honey and egg. Roll dough on floured table to 1/4″ thick and cut it in 3″ x 3″ squares.
Add one teaspoon filling on center parts of cookie squares. Add either walnut (or poppy seeds for some) on cookies. Roll squares & seal edges, or form like triangles.
Arrange cookies about 2″ apart from each other on ungreased baking sheets. Apply egg whites using brush. Then bake in oven for 15-17 minutes or ’til light brown. Sprinkle the Confectioners’ (or powdered) sugar when cookies are cool.

Chocolate Meltaways Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of softened butter
1 1/4 c of sugar (powdered)
1 c of flour; sifted
1/4 tsp of salt
2 tbsps of cornstarch
1 c of nuts; chopped
1 bar (9-oz) of milk-chocolate candy; melted
1 tsp of vanilla
Instructions:
Get your butter and cream it. Stir in vanilla and sugar gradually. Next, sift salt, cornstarch and flour together then add this to your butter mix.
Then, fold your chocolate and nuts in to your mix. Form into small balls that are about a teaspoon each of your dough for 1 cookie. Put then on an ungreased baking/cookie sheet then bake for about 40 mins at around 250 degrees fahrenheit.

Baby Ruth Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of egg
2.5 c of flour
1 c of butter
5 pcs candy bars(Baby Ruth); sliced into 6 parts
1 c of sugar (powdered);sifted
A tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, soften butter then beat together with sugar till mixture is fluffy and light. Add vanilla then beat egg in. Lastly, add the flour and mix well.
Wrap wax paper around dough then refrigerate for a minimum of an hour. Dust board lightly with flour and roll out dough to around 1/4-inch thickness. Use 1 3/4-inch and 2-inch round cutters then cut out 30 pcs of the 2 sizes.
Arrange the smaller cookies 1-inch apart on lightly greased sheets. Put a Baby Ruth slice on top then cover with the larger cookie dough, and press sides together. Finally, bake for about 12 mins. at 375 degrees F or till lightly brown.

Almond-Orange Poppyseed Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/4 c of sugar
1 1/4 tsp of almond extract
2/3 c of softened butter
1 tsp of vanilla extract
3 tbsps of OJ
2 pcs egg
3 c of flour
3/4 tsp of salt
2 tbsps of poppy seeds
1/3 c sugar (for glaze)
2 tsps of baking powder
Instructions:
Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, and almond extract til it becomes fluffy and light. Blend in eggs and juice. Add 2 tbsps poppy seed, salt, baking powder & flour. Blend mixture well.
Chill dough if needed to make it easier to handle, or add a little flour til it’s not sticky anymore. Heat oven at 350 degrees F. On surface dusted with flour, roll a third of the dough 1/4-inch thick 1/3 of your dough at one time.
Keep the unrolled dough in refrigerator. Use cutter to shape cookies. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 9 to 12 mins.
To make the glaze, mix 1/4 tsp poppy seed, 1/3 c sugar, 2 tbsps juice & 1/4 tsp almond together. Once blended, spead over cookies while still hot.

Cherry Custard Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of flour
3 tbsps of sugar (powdered)
1/2 c of butter
2 pcs of egg
1 c of sugar
1/2 tsp of baking powder
A tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 c of flour
1/4 tsp of salt
3/4 c of nuts; chopped
1 c of cherries (maraschino); chopped
Instructions:
Mix the first 3 ingredients together well. Pat dough into bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan. Next, bake for about 25 mins. at 350 degrees F.
Combine the rest of the ingredients then blend well. Spread this over crust and return to oven. Bake for another 25 mins. at 350 degrees F.

Blueberry Crumble Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of sugar (white)
1 tsp of baking powder
1 pc of egg
3 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 c of butter
1/4 tsp of salt
a dash of cinnamon (ground)
4 c of blueberries (fresh)
1/2 c of sugar (white)
3 tsps of cornstarch
Instructions:
Preheat your oven at 375 deg. fahrenheit. Prepare a greased 9×13-inch pan. Combine baking powder, 3 c of flour & 1 c of sugar in mixing bowl.
Add cinnamon and salt to taste. Using fork/cutter, mix the egg and butter. Blend well until crumbs form. Press 1/2 of mixture in to the greased pan.
Meanwhile, in separate bowl, mix cornstarch and sugar together. Gradually add your blueberries to make filling. Evenly pour over crust. Create another layer with the remaining crust mixture.
Bake until cookie top turns light brown or for about 45 mins. Leave to totally cool before slicing into small squares. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar or add cream (whipped) on top, and serve.

Orange Crisps Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of butter (unsalted)
1/2 c of sugar (white)
1/2 c of sugar (brown)
2 tsps of orange zest; grated
1 Tbsp of orange juice
1 fresh egg
1/4 tsp of baking soda
2.5 c of flour; sifted
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 c of shortening
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 375 degrees F.
Beat the butter, the shortening, and the sugars in a bowl until creamy. Add in the orange zest, orange juice, egg, baking soda, flour, and salt. Mix and incorporate well.
Press the dough with a rolling pin. Cut into shapes and place on the baking sheet then bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Maple Cream Sandwich Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 c of sugar (brown); packed
1 c of butter
1 pc of egg yolk
2 Tbsps of butter
2 1/4 c of flour; sifted
1 1/4 c of sugar (Confectioners’); sifted
4 Tbsps of heavy cream
1/2 tsp of vanilla
Instructions:
Cream a cup of butter and gradually pour sugar, blending well. Drop the yolk into the mixture and continue mixing. Add the flour, constantly stirring ’til mixture turns to dough and chill it a little for easy handling.
Create create marble-sized balls from dough. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten into 1/8″ thick pieces and run fork on cookies in a single direction, creating design.
Put into oven and bake within 9-12 minutes (325 degrees F). Remove cookies from oven when they start to become light brown. Remove cookies from the sheets while still warm.
Create frosting by browning 2 Tbsps butter lightly using saucepan. Take away from the heat then blend 1 1/4 c of confectioners’ sugar. Slowly add half tsp vanilla as well as 4 or 5 tsps cream ’til its viscosity is ideal for spreading.
Connect 2 cookies side by side on the flatter sides using frosting, just like a sandwich.
