Caramel Yummy Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
32 pcs of caramel candies (individually wrapped); take of wrapping
5 tbsps of heavy cream
1/2 tsp of soda
1 c of flour (all-purpose)
1 c of oats; rolled
3/4 c of sugar (brown)
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 c of chocolate chips (semisweet)
3/4 c of softened butter
1/2 c of walnuts; chopped
Instructions:
Preheat your oven at 350 degrees F. Melt heavy cream and caramel candies together in your saucepan on low fire then stir frequently to smoothen this caramel mix. In your medium-sized bowl, mix together salt, baking soda, brown sugar, oats and flour.
Next, add in butter just until everything is blended well. Place 1/2 of dough on bottom part of your 9×13-inch pan. Set the other half aside.
Bake crust in oven for about 8 mins. Take out of oven, then sprinkle walnuts and choco chips on top. Spread caramel mix over last layer then drizzle remaining half of your dough as last layer.
Put back in oven then bake until topping is toasted, or for 12 more minutes. Slice into bite-sized squares before cooling.
