Butter Tart Recipe
Ingredients:
For Crust:
2 tbsp sugar (brown)
1 c of flour
1/2 c of butter
1/4 tsp of salt
2 eggs(beaten)
1/2 c of oats; rolled
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/4 c of coconuts; flaked
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1.5 c of packed sugar (brown)
1/2 c of nuts; chopped
Instructions:
Oven should be preheated at 350 deg. fahrenheit and grease a 9×9-inch pan. Grab a mixing bowl then mix flour & brown sugar. Add butter and beat until this mixture looks crumbly. Pour in your greased pan then press it down to make crust.
Bake crust inside your oven for about 15 mins, taking care not to completely cook it fully. In separate bowl, mix eggs & remainder of your brown sugar. Blend together salt, oats & baking powder.
Next, blend the oat mixture in with your egg and sugar mix. Add vanilla, coconut & nuts. Eveny spread this on your crust in the pan. Then, bake in oven for 20 mins. After cooling, slice them up into bite-sized squares.
